Roundtable

Today, the first ever Adopt-a-School Roundtable Luncheon was held. Both business partners and school coordinators sat down for an open discussion regarding the program. Five school coordinators were in attendance along with ten partners. This was a small representation of the partners that participate program-wide.  The Adopt-a-School Program would not exist without the amazing support from our community. Thankfully, we have a very giving community that supports Waco ISD schools.

Over the course of the luncheon, the group discussed topics such as the most innovative or effective programs that are currently in place, the different feedback they have gotten from their volunteers, and the different ways to make the partnerships more effective. This made for both a valuable and productive conversation to further strengthen and grow the Adopt-a-School Program. Businesses, churches, and volunteer groups alike are all doing truly wonderful things to support Waco ISD schools. The plan from here is to continue to find ways to further support the students and staff so that they can continue growing their educational experience.

A huge thank you goes to Bethany Williams and Central National Bank for being such gracious hosts and providing the group lunch today. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support!
